About  MYTHICA

Home

Armed with an arsenal of instruments, Mythica takes listeners on a sonic rollercoaster ride. Whether it’s a funky Celtic jam, jaunty bluegrass tune, soulful ballad or driving rock song, Mythica’s songs are inventive but accessible, fresh yet familiar. Inspired by artists like Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Dave Matthews and Radiohead, and by traditional Irish and World music, Mythica’s sound is a melting pot of genres, including rock, alternative, ambient, bluegrass, folk and Celtic. The band’s fearless leader, Melissa Cox, has won many awards for her songwriting prowess and powerful mezzo soprano voice.
